 Testimonials

"As a non-binary person, finding my voice (both literally and figuratively) has been a deeply personal journey. Working with Isabella was an incredibly affirming and positive experience from the start. She created a space that felt safe, judgment-free, and genuinely encouraging, which made it so much easier to explore my voice without fear. She’s not just technically skilled; she’s emotionally intuitive and truly supportive. Even on the days I wasn’t feeling my best, she met me where I was and reminded me that progress isn’t linear. If you’re looking for a voice teacher who understands the emotional side of voice work (especially for queer and trans folks), Isabella is the real deal."

"Isabella was super helpful getting my voice trained into a fem range! Over five months we were able to get my voice from very masculine to passing one hundred percent of the time, and as a result I feel both more confident and much safer out and about. Isabella was incredibly honest, supportive, and kind the entire time—I highly recommend!"

“Isabella’s practice is a uniquely helpful combination of hands-on practicality and uncovering authenticity, while keeping things light-hearted and fun. Their deep expertise in not only teaching voice work, but specific training in trans voice needs, makes a huge difference in bridging the gap between exercises and your actual day-to-day goals. Most importantly, doing this work with somebody who is also in the trans community creates the deeper foundation of safety, empathy, and understanding that you really need to explore and open up to the work. Wherever you’re trying to go with your voice in transition, Isabella is an amazing guide to help you find your way there.”

“As a nonbinary person I’m very aware of the ways the world is unnecessarily gendered, but Isabella has helped me to even further break down societal gendering of the voice by renaming certain gendered terms. They’ve also helped me understand my voice changes on testosterone by giving me examples of the experiences of other people they’ve worked with. Currently, we are working on the parts of my range that are not as strong as they were before I was on HRT. I’m still trying to figure some things out, but I feel far less distressed about my vocal challenges than I did before I started working with Isabella. I feel reminded that my voice is a tool that needs care and upkeep just like any other instrument. I feel encouraged to lean into vulnerable parts of my voice, rather than avoiding them, in order to further learn about myself.

When working with Isabella I feel safe to be questioning, or silly, or emotional. We work at whatever pace works best for me and I don’t feel pressured to do more than I am capable of. I’m impressed and relieved by the un-gendering of vocal terms and the attention to the way my neurodivergences affect my vocal work. Overall I think they are a great teacher who will take into account your unique characteristics, whether they have to do with gender, neurodivergence, trauma, hypermobility, or all of the above. Vocal work can be very vulnerable and I think Isabella creates a safe space to explore that.”

“I’ve been having singing lessons with Isabella for 6 months and I’m thrilled about the continuous improvement with my voice, breathing and building self confidence along this journey. Not to mention her knowledge is out of this world! I’m very satisfied.”

I first found Isabella through their Tik Tok account where she gave little snippets of things you could already try to make your voice sound more masculine. Even after 14 years on testosterone I still didn't really like my voice so I really wanted to try this.

Isabella made me feel at ease from the first minute and is a master at analyzing your voice and work out what you can improve on. After about 8 lessons I feel like I have more control over my voice and even though I am not a 100% happy yet it has improved so freaking much already!

I would definitely recommend her because anyone who can switch between a Spongebob and a Patrick voice with that much accuracy and so quickly is sure to know their stuff.
